About me
Originally from the US state of Michigan, I have studied and worked in a variety of countries (UK, Belgium, Canada, Ethiopia, Switzerland, France) over the past 25 years. I currently live in Reims, France, where in addition to my writing, editing and translation services, I teach English at the primary and university levels, and give historical walking tours.
I have a varied educational and employment history. I studied history, international relations and politics before becoming a librarian. I have worked in the fields of public health, international cooperation, trade and education. I started Baker Services in March 2022 in order to pursue some of the areas of interest I have developed over my career.
In addition to my professional activities, I enjoy playing music, writing, reading, travelling (and photographing the places I've been). I speak English (native), French (C2 level) and Spanish (B2).
